Electric Marine
Classic wooden boat converted with lithium batteries
Electric Marine in Finland converted a classic wooden boat into full electric propulsion with four Nomada 12V105Ah lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4).
The Battery Interface Box (BIB) is used to protect the battery back against improper use. The BIB communicates with the battery’s BMS (Battery management system) to request to the batteries if they are operable and used within their limits. A Delta Q is used to charge the lithium batteries.
Furthermore, one Epsilon 12V90Ah lithium battery is used on board for household applications.
